About RAPservicesresourcesfrequently asked questionscontact ushome

Regional Addiction Prevention (RAP), Inc. has served the
community continuously for nearly four decades. We offer residential treatment that is centered on cultural values and supports the development of the whole person—body, mind,
and spirit.

In addition, we use the therapeutic community (TC) approach to building an individual's concept of self. Family oriented and highly structured, our TC supports clients' recovery process through individual/group counseling; family interventions; a healthful diet and exercise lifestyle; relapse prevention; work preparedness and life skills.

RAP, Inc. is staffed by professionals in social work, medicine, psychology, and education as well as graduates who are certified
in counseling and trained in the TC modality.

"For the greatest thing that anyone can do in the world… the greatest undertaking…the noblest effort…is to be engaged in some activity which has as its aim, the improvement of life. The improvement of life, then, ought to be our number one goal in our search for happiness… in our search for self-realization.
