Dear: Friends of RAP

Happy Holidays to you. I’m not going to go into a long description about who we are and what we do. The very fact that your name is on our mailing list says that you are a family member of someone who came to us for help or someone whom we have helped. What you may not know is that RAP now operates 5 different facilities: one in Laurel, MD, which is our 80-bed co-educational facility; 1949 4th Street, the Calvin Rolark Center is a 40-bed facility; another is our ten bed emergency housing facility, and our new executive office and learning center called the Chancellor Williams Learning Center, directly next door to Calvin Rolark. We’ve acquired two other properties that will be opening some time in 2005 that will be re-entry facilities to house 8 to 10 men and women in their transitional phase of returning to the community.

You may ask yourself how we were able to do this? We were only able achieve this with the support of our friends and past residents/clients like yourself. So we come to you once a year at this time in the season of giving to ask for a contribution to help us with this continuing goal of saving lives. A contribution of 25, 50 or 100 dollars will go along way in helping someone reclaim their lives. I don’t have to tell you what you already know…how much this will be appreciated.

Wishing you a blessed Holiday Season.

Sincerely,

Ron Clark
Executive Director
